Congress recently introduced the bipartisan Motion Picture, Television, and Entertainment Revitalization Act (MPTERA).
This is a federal incentive that, if passed, would help bring film and television jobs back to the United States. Major entertainment unions and organizations strongly support the legislation and are pushing for Congress to pass it.

The National Association of Voice Actors (NAVA) unequivocally opposes the executive order aimed at stripping states of their ability to craft their own regulations for artificial intelligence (AI).
This move represents a dangerous decision that prioritizes a handful of tech companies over the protection and livelihood of American workers and industries.
The voice acting community, already facing job losses from unregulated AI use, understands that we cannot wait for the federal government to act.

Over 60% of the voice actors are located outside of LA and New York. We’re not anti-tech or anti-AI, as many have said before.”
